Hajer Guerdelli is a Ph.D. student at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Berretti. Her research revolves around Smart Computing, with a thesis topic focusing on ‘Facial Emotion Recognition from Videos and Prediction of Interaction between Two People.’

Her primary research interests lie in the fields of Machine Learning and Computer Vision, with an emphasis on Emotion Recognition. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking at the Higher Institute of Computer and Communication Technology Hammam Sousse – Tunisia. She further pursued two master’s degrees from the same institute: a Professional Master of Services and Network Security, specializing in Network Security, and a Research Master of Networks.

She also holds a Master’s degree in Ergonomics from the Faculty of Medicine of Monastir – Tunisia, where she conducted research on “Semiquantitative Analysis by Video Recording of musculo-skeletal disorders (troubles musculo–squelettiques (TMS)).”
