Gabriele Paolini is a PhD student in Smart Computing at MICC, University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Berretti.

Gabriele Paolini is currently a PhD student at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Florence, working at the Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Berretti. He earned his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2020, specializing in the analysis of Local Field Potential signals using the tools of non-linear dynamical systems.

After completing his M.Sc., he joined the MICC as a Research Fellow, where he worked from 2022 to 2024. During this period, he focused on developing deep neural networks applied to relief patterns recognition. From this experience, he began his PhD in 2024, continuing his research at the MICC lab. His current research interests include relief patterns classification and segmentation, as well as neural stylization of 3D models.
