Long Bio
Pietro Bongini was born in Firenze on September 22th 1993. He received a master degree in computer engineering from the University of Florence in 2019 with the thesis “GADA: Generative Adversarial Data Augmentation for Image Quality Assessment”. From June 2019 he started to work at MICC as a research fellow on Visual Question Answering applied to cultural heritage. He was a PhD Student and research fellow at Media Integration and Communication Center (MICC) at the University of Florence, under the supervision of Prof. Andrew D. Bagdanov and Prof. Alberto del Bimbo. His main research interests are Machine Learning and Computer Vision, with a focus on Visual Question Answering and Image Quality Assessment
