Iacopo Masi received his PhD in computer science from the University of Florence, Italy. He is currently a Postdoc researcher at University of Southern California (USC). His research interests include pattern recognition and computer vision, specifically the subjects of tracking with PTZ cameras, person re-identification and 2D/3D face recognition and modeling. Lately, he have being working on person re-identification in bio-metrics and surveillance applications focusing on person representation, matching algorithms and cross-view learning methods with state-of-the-art results.
Giuseppe Lisanti received his PhD in computer science from the University of Florence, Italy. He is a Postdoc at the Media Integration and Communication Center and his main research interests focus on computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning, specifically the subjects of person detection and tracking, person re-identification and face recognition. He have being working for the last seven years on tracking and person re-identification focusing on person representation and cross-view learning methods that led to state-of-the-art results.
Federico Bartoli received his master’s degree in computer science from the University of Florence, Italy. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Media Integration and Communication Center. His research interests include pattern recognition and computer vision, specifically pedestrian detection and person re-identification. Lately, he is working with state-of-the-art person re-identification descriptors to augmented museum visitors experience for personalized multimedia content delivery and real-time methods to speed-up the detection process for surveillance and critical scenarios.
Alberto Del Bimbo is a full professor of computer engineering at the University of Florence, Italy, where he is the director of the Media Integration and Communication Center. His research interests include multimedia processing and computer vision. He is a member of the IEEE.
